Flowers for a Black and White Theme

Q

We are having a black and white colour theme, what flowers would you suggest to go with this

A

There are very few black flowers and the ones considered black are either a very dark purple (schwarzwalder callas) or deep chocolate (chocolate cosmos). With a black and white colour scheme the best way to make this very vibrant monotone theme work is to accessorise. Why not have your table centre arrangements made out of white flowers in black glass vases. Add things like feathers, black crystal gel or black crystals to add colour into the arrangements. You could also add sprayed flowers.

One of the most striking additions to a black theme can be sprayed sea holly (eryingium) stems, which can give the arrangement a much more interesting architectural like structure.
