What is the best shape bouquet for meQ
I will be having a classic shaped wedding dress with a full skirt. Can you recommend what shape bouquet will look best? Many modern brides are choosing what is called a beidermeier bouquet, a type of hand tied bouquet where the flower heads are very tightly packed into a globe or dome shape. This works well with a slender silhouette and a modern-style dress but could look out of scale with other dresses. With a full-skirted classic-style dress you have the opportunity to really get creative with the size and scale of the bouquet! I have seen some wonderful over-the-arm bouquets that are more like a waterfall than a bouquet; the flower heads are secured with beads at the end of long strands of foliage, so they bob gently as you walk. Or you could go for something big and airy with lots of volume, using large leaves or tall stems. Ultimately the bouquet has to be a shape and weight – you will feel comfortable holding, and that suits your personal style. Expert Advice From: Have a question?
