Organising Wedding Flowers AbroadQ
I love flowers but we're thinking of getting married abroad. What flowers should I choose? and how can I find a suitable florist? Many of the hotels that offer weddings abroad have an in-house florist or a local florist hat they work closely with. If you are choosing to get married overseas it makes sense to have something appropriate flower-wise a cottage garden bouquet would look incongruous in the Caribbean, for instance! Local florists can advise on indigenous flowers, or locally-grown crops, that would suit being used in a wedding bouquet. If your venue does not have its own florist, or is remote from a retail centre where you could pick one up, Interflora has links with overseas florists through its network and might be able to connect you to a florist in your chosen location.
