Are there any Green Tulips for my Wedding FlowersQ
My wedding colours are green and white. I absolutely love tulips. Could you tell me if there is any such thing as 'green' tulips and how easily available are they? I've not seen a pure green tulip but there is a lovely green and white tulip called Super Parrot. They're slightly fluted towards the top of the petals, and give a lovely texture to arrangements. Super Parrot are easily available between November and May. Expert Advice From: There isn’t a specific green tulip, but there are tulips that are white with a green stripe up the centre of each petal. One variety is called ‘Spring Green’. These tulips should be available in the spring months, but check with your florist if they can get them order for you. Expert Advice From: Viridiflora are a type of Green Tulip. All flowers have green on the petals. The best choice for a Green & White wedding theme would be Spring green. A Creamy White flower with streaks of green on each petal. Alternatively Tulips mixed with White or Green Hydrangea. They are a late spring flowering plant. It is best to check with your florist for availability. Expert Advice From: Have a question?
