Lilac And Silver Theme Wedding Flowers

Help, I'm really stuck. I know nothing about flowers but know I would like something simple but elegant. I'm having a lilac and silver theme, but don't know whether I should have ivory and the bridesmaids have lilac, or the other way round etc. I don't really like dark purple flowers so don't want them included! Any ideas? Thanks!!!

A Personally I would recommend having the lilac flowers yourself and giving the bridesmaids the cream. This way the flowers you have will stand out from the dresses they are wearing as they could fade into the background colouring and be lost completely. I would suggest something like and old Dutch rose which is a wonderful lilac antique looking rose for bouquets and maybe a mixture of Lisianthus to have for your bridesmaids.
