February Wedding Flowers

February Wedding Flowers Valentine's day is the celebration of romantic love on February 14th. You obviously aren't in need of cupids magic arrows if you are getting married in February but you can draw on traditional romantic ideas and symbols for your theme.

Red roses are the ultimate symbol of love and passion - red is the colour of passion, energy and warmth so you can use luxurious red roses to create impact and drama at your wedding. A word of caution though red roses can become particularly pricey at this time of year so if you are watching your budget you may want to keep them for your bouquet and use alternative red flowers for your centerpieces. Other red flowers available in February include fragrant freesia, exotic anthurium, gerbera, calla lily and tulips.

If you are looking for a more delicate romantic feel then pink is very feminine and pretty - green is the perfect foil for pink so don't forget the foliage for a classic combination.
