Gypsophila is so back in fashion! Also known as ‘baby’s breath’ this pretty flower is familiar to many as a filler flower for bouquets and arrangements but it’s definitely time to take a new look at this fabulously versatile floral for your wedding flowers.  We reveal how to give this classic bloom a fashionable twist.

Gypsophila Season & Colours

Gypsophila is a very popular filler flower for bouquets and centerpieces – it’s good value for money and has a delicate, pretty appearance. There are a variety of gypsophila available with smaller-flowered varieties and other colours in addition to white now available.
Season: Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter.
Colour: Gypsophila has a chalky white flower, although cream and pale pink varieties are sometimes found.

Gypsophila Bridal Bouquets

For a touch of Mid-Summer nights dreaminess why not try a massed bouquet of gypsophila tied with a swish of pure white organza. For a modern bride wearing a shorter bridal dress or with fashion forward dress style a smaller sized bouquet is on trend right now. Make a statement with more contemporary flowers in bright, bold contrasting colours then add gypsophila to tie everything together.
