Real Dream Weddings... Ian and Bridget at Wicksteed Park

Ian and Bridget wanted to have a wedding that had a traditional theme with a modern twist . Their relaxed attitude was mirrored in their glorious day held at Wicksteed Park Northamptonshire where they had a Civil Ceremony and Reception.

Ian and Bridget met on the internet where they realised they had met some years before at a friend’s party without even knowing! Their first date was Boxing Day 2004, a month or so after meeting online. Ian's proposal was very romantic, he prepared a candlelit 3 course dinner in their home. Afterwards, he surprised Bridget with an extra special course, a covered dish revealed Bridget's surprise, a beautiful sapphire & diamond engagement ring! With Ian on one knee at her side, he uttered the immortal words “will you marry me”! Through tears of joy Bridget said yes "I didn’t need to think about it – I’ve always known Ian was the one for me".
