Ian and Bridget wanted to have a wedding that had a traditional theme with a modern twist . Their relaxed attitude was mirrored in their glorious day held at Wicksteed Park Northamptonshire where they had a Civil Ceremony and Reception.
Bridget's two-piece ivory chiffon dress was designed by Amanda Wyatt. An A-line skirt, fitted bodice and matching bolero was set off by a simple veil, plain with a scalloped edge and decorated with crystals matched with ivory satin shoes. Ian and Bridget's three bridesmaids and wore long ivory satin dresses with an ivory ribbon sash tied to one side at the waist matched with ivory shoes. The eldest bridesmaids dress was strapless with clear crystals along the top of the bodice. All the dresses were made by a local dressmaker. Bridget's wanted simple but stunning accessories to complement her dress to get the perfect look she commissioned them with a designer she discovered at a Wedding Fair. Jenny handmade Bridget's tiara of clear and lilac Swarovski crystals, matching necklace, earrings and bracelet. She also made the bridesmaids tiaras of clear and lilac crystals and Bridget's mums jewellery. "She did a fantastic job and I highly recommend her". Ian, his best man and Bridget's father all hired their wedding suits from Warwicks Menswear in Kettering. They wore dark grey suits with white shirts, lilac cravats with silver-grey and lilac waistcoats.
