Ian and Bridget wanted to have a wedding that had a traditional theme with a modern twist . Their relaxed attitude was mirrored in their glorious day held at Wicksteed Park Northamptonshire where they had a Civil Ceremony and Reception.
Ian and Bridget chose a traditional three tier round stacked cake made by a cake designer that Bridget met at a wedding fair. The bottom tier was traditional fruit, the second tier was chocolate and the top tier was Victoria sponge. Iced with ivory icing, decorated with ivory hearts and trimmed with lilac ribbon. The wedding cake topper was ivory, lilac and purple hearts floating amid ivory and purple feathers.
