Real Dream Weddings... Ian and Bridget at Wicksteed Park

Ian and Bridget wanted to have a wedding that had a traditional theme with a modern twist. Their relaxed attitude was mirrored in their glorious day held at Wicksteed Park Northamptonshire where they had a Civil Ceremony and Reception.

Bridget's wedding flowers were inspired by memories of her Grandfathers garden. "My favourite flower has always been the rose, my granddad loved his garden and he had rows of beautiful scented roses which is why I’ve always loved them, they are such an elegant flower and I wanted them to feature in my wedding flowers". A local florist with many years experience didn’t disappoint, Bridget had a shower bouquet of ivory roses, lilac and purple freesias with ivy and myrtle. The bridesmaids each had hand tied posies of the same flowers. The button holes were simple ivory roses with a hint of lilac.
