An element that can be used as a theme throughout your wedding day such as a colour or a flower can help you to make decisions when it comes to choosing your dress, venue and other wedding items. We've chosen gorgeous pink roses and hearts - what could be more romantic ?

The trick to this theme is to keep it fresh, feminine and elegant by restricting the use of pink to subtle colour tones. Co-ordinate with fresh white tableware and highlight with an accent colour such as a fresh green.

Gorgeous Wedding Flowers...

Think about creating a feminine bouquet - try beautiful pink roses combined with creamy ivory spray roses in a hand-tied bouquet. Lacy cream Skimmia adds a light touch, Gypsophila or Trachelium could be used as alternatives to the Skimmia.

Pink and Ivory roses with a hint of pink create a sensational centrepiece for the table in a heart shaped wreath - you could even add an heart shaped floral door wreath to welcome your guests to the reception.

Tiny glasses used as individual mini vases contain a sweet mini bouquet of a single Pink roses and Gypsophila.

Romantic Lighting ...

Candles give a romantic mood use large pillar candles as a centrepiece or lots of individual tea lights - do check first with the venue that they will allow this.

Finishing Touches:
Sprinkle paper or dried rose petals on your tables for the perfect finishing touch. Favours can be integrated with your theme - boxes tied with coloured ribbon or a paper or silk flower on each place setting. Garlands of fresh, silk or paper flowers can also be draped around tables.
